The material supplied should be guaranteed by the manufacturer against any defective material quality and workmanship. Each tender should be enclosed with Earnest Money Deposit for an amount of 5% of the tendered amount. The EMD should be in the form of a Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at State Bank of Travancore, Kumily Branch. The EMD will be returned to the unsuccessful tenderers within one week from the date of the opening of tenders. The tenderer should specify their minimum period required for the supply within one month or less from the date of placing the firm supply order and also specify the conditions of supply. The sealed tenders should reach the undersigned by registered post with acknowledgement or speed post on or before 3.00 PM on 14th September 2009 and will be opened by the undersigned at 4 PM on the same day in the presence of tenderers / their authorized representatives who are present at that time.  The same will be placed before the Executive Committee of Periyar Foundation headed by the Field Director, Project Tiger for approval. The decision of the Executive Committee can be challenged only before the Governing Body of Periyar Foundation. The successful tenderer will have to execute an agreement specifying the conditions of supply with the undersigned at Thekkady on a date after intimating the acceptance of this tender.

The undersigned, for and on behalf of Periyar Foundation having its registered office at Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady – 685 536 reserves the right to reject any of the tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The specimen tender form to quote the rates is appended hereto. The tenderer is free to attach product details along with the tenders.
